Clifford Wildes

Cliff Wildes has over 30 years’ of executive management experience in private and public companies. During the past three decades, he has acted as Founder, CEO, COO, President and Chairman of numerous public and private entities.

Wildes has significant domestic and international experience in the microelectronics, computer hardware and software industries, financial services, as well as consulting for both technology and non-technology sectors. He has participated in, founded or structured, several private companies becoming public companies by reverse merger and S1 registration, as well as facilitated funding of equity or debt in both public and private companies in excess of $250MM.

In addition to being the Founder and Managing Member of Triad Capital, LLC in Sarasota, Florida, he holds Series 24, 62, 63, 65, 79 and 99 FINRA / SEC registrations. He is Director of SPBS, an employee owned (ESOP) organization, that provides biomedical equipment and responsive support to over 600 hospitals, clinics, physician offices, imaging labs and other facilities throughout the United States.

Wildes was Chief Strategy Officer for Impesa Inc, an international SaaS FinTech company with offices in Costa Rica and Stamford, CT during 2016–2017.

A serial entrepreneur, Wildes was Founder and CEO of Meridian Capital Inc in Florida, a self-funded venture capital firm in the late 90’s that provided the initial funding and financing for Nova Interactive Inc and Morgan Beaumont Inc/nFinanSe.

As Founder, CEO and Chairman of nFinanSe, Inc, (formerly Morgan Beaumont) a publicly-traded company that is a premier provider of stored value and prepaid card solutions in the United States, Cliff started nFinanSe in 2001, took the company public in 2004 and left as its Chairman in 2007.

Wildes was Founder, CEO and Chairman of Microtech International Inc, a $43MM in annual revenue privately held computer peripheral and electronics company in the USA, UK and Japan that he started in 1985 and sold to a Japanese public company in 1995. In 2017, he relaunched the company with a focus on technology that expands beyond hardware and software into vertical market technologies in fuel performance products; renewable energy solutions including solar and wind power; and SaaS and SaaS FinTech development, marketing, sales and distribution in the USA and internationally. Microtech currently has offices and customers in the USA, Denmark and Africa.

Wildes has extensive international trade experience in the Asian markets as Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of RamState Electronics located in Tokyo Japan, Co-Founder and Chairman of Microtech Japan in Tokyo, Japan with offices in Hong Kong and Co-Founder and Director of Ado America, a wholly-owned US subsidiary of Ado, a Japanese publicly-traded company.

Wildes’s years of experience have garnered unique skill sets and knowledge to the benefit of Triad Capital clientele.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Cliff earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston/Boston State College.

Jørgen Laustsen

Jørgen Laustsen is an accomplished international business manager with extensive experience in the telecommunications and infrastructure sector. During the past three decades, he has held executive management positions and been a Board member in multinational companies delivering professional services, hardware and software development, and manufacturing.

During his tenure at Nokia Networks, then Nokia Siemens Networks, Laustsen held key roles including Head of Delivery Services–Asia Pacific, Head of Services–Africa and Global Head of Services Operations. He was instrumental when Nokia and Siemens merged their telecommunications businesses. Laustsen was responsible for the approximately 600M€ annual Services business across the continent. Primary contributions include critical improvements to supply chain optimization, implementing a key account management program, expanding delivery capability in Nigeria and Malawi, and establishing presence in Tanzania, Bukino Faso, Madagascar and Congo B.

As CEO of Ramboll Telecom, an international engineering, design and consultancy company; Laustsen was responsible for the 25M€ annual Global Tower Production and Services business. He was on the Board of Directors for Ramboll Denmark, China, Indonesia and South Africa.

Since 2013, Laustsen has operated as an independent consultant advising companies and governments. As a consultant and entrepreneur, Laustsen has founded or structured numerous startup companies in Africa, Europe and the USA in positions as CEO or CTO driving strategy, acquisitions, business development and restructuring activities as well as facilitated funding.

Laustsen was a board member and Technical Director of Global Infrastructure Investors Ltd. a company based in Mauritius and Dubai, with a focus on telecom networks and energy infrastructure in Africa and the Middle East. Additionally, he served as Deputy Managing Director and Compliance Officer at associated Global Wireless SCS-FIS, a SICAV fund in Luxembourg.

Early on in his career, Laustsen was a Project Manager for Greenland Contractors and the US Air Force, and Technical Design Manager for P. Jul Hansen A/S.

Currently, Laustsen is also serves as Executive Director at Living Energy International A/S and COO at Windar Photonics A/S; and is a principal of Microtech International Inc.

Laustsen earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Copenhagen Polytechnic and Master’s of Science in European Construction Engineering from both Loughborough University of Technology in the UK and University of Cantabria in Spain. His additional studies at Harvard Business School and London Business School include driving corporate performance, leading professional service firms, operator business strategies, and environmental and quality management systems.

kHyal is an award-winning creative director and marketing executive with extensive experience working with international brands, corporations and agencies in North America, Central America, South America, Europe and Asia with a focus on technology, healthcare, financial services, education, non-profit and consumer product verticals. She is currently Chief Marketing Officer for Impesa Inc, a SaaS FinTech company with offices in Costa Rica and Stamford, CT; and Cofounder of Microtech International Inc. 2.0.

Her multidisciplinary firm, fiZz Agency, has served a client roster that spans a wide range of brands and corporations including: Pitney Bowes, Sharp Electronics, Xerox, Lexmark, Konica Minolta, ProLabs, Deutsche Bank, and UBS Investment Bank. Past positions include: Chief Creative Officer at Metropolitan interactive; Creative Director at Havas Worldwide, NetKey and Microtech international; Vice President of Marketing at blowtorch studios and SunStar interactive; and Director of Marketing at Stamford Health. She was a marketing consultant, then Controller, at Cello, Ltd., a high end audio design and manufacturing firm where she also handled financing and trade with Japan.

In addition, kHyal has worked as a Director and Consultant in employee staffing, and has spearheaded talent evaluation and acquisition initiatives at career development and recruitment events at Carnegie Mellon University, Rhode Island School of Design, Pratt Institute, The New School, Parsons, FIT, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Temple University, Rochester Institute of Technology, Syracuse University, Miami Ad School and University of Hartford. She has been an invited participant in hiring programs at NYU, Wasserman Center for Career Development in Manhattan. kHyal served on AWNY’s (Advertising Women of New York) Annual Career Conference Committee, and Resume and Portfolio Review Clinic Subcommittee for multiple terms. She has written workplace and culture policies and extensive content for hospitals and health care organization employee publications; and was hired as a consultant by tech unicorn company Datto to write human resources publications, just prior to their $1B valuation in 2015.

kHyal majored in Mass Communications at Emerson College. She has served on the MIT Enterprise Forum of New York City’s Marketing Committee; co-chaired the Fundraising Committee of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, Los Angeles; and was an active member of the Connecticut Technology Council’s Vice President of Marketing Forum. She is a founding member of the Women’s Internet History Project; and former member/speaker at FleetBoston Financial Women Entrepreneurs’ Connection.

A passionate educator, kHyal has been an Adjunct Instructor at Miami Ad School New York where she taught Product Creation and Innovation; and an Adjunct Professor at Anhui Polytechnic University in Wuhu City, China. She has been an invited mentor, speaker, panelist and judge on the topics of design, marketing, technology and innovation at conferences, special events, universities and colleges in the USA, Europe and Asia.

Jeff Daugherty

Jeff Daugherty is Chairman, President and CEO of SPBS, Inc. Jeff first worked with SPBS from 2007–2009 in a fractional CFO capacity. During this time, he led numerous business process improvement initiatives which led to a successful organizational restructuring. In 2011, Jeff returned to SPBS at the request of the founder, and served as CFO/COO, which included a successful turnaround initiative and acquisition of two companies. In 2016, he successfully led a buyout of the founder and shareholders through the creation of a 100% ESOP S Corp.

Additionally, Jeff is the founder and Managing Director of LSC Associates, LLC d/b/a The CFS Group based in Dallas, TX. In this capacity, he has advised, owned and managed numerous private and public companies with a focus on strategic planning, capital raising, debt placement, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, private placements, and joint ventures.

Jeff’s experience spans a wide range of industries, including: manufacturing, healthcare, business services, telecommunications, trading firms, electronics and software. He has served in various operating capacities as CEO, CFO, COO and Board member for his client companies over the past 19 years.

During his career, Jeff has been a financial advisor and consultant on behalf of Harris Trust & Savings Bank — a unit of the Bank of Montreal; and BancBoston, providing strategic consultation for their growth initiatives in Florida. He spent much of his earlier career with JP Morgan & Co. and Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York working in the private and investment banking groups.

Prior to joining JP Morgan, Jeff was co-founder and EVP of Bank of North America. At 25 years old, as a founding member of the bank, he led an initiative to acquire five financial institutions with over $5 billion in assets, preceding its sale less than 5 years later. Jeff was also a commercial lender with Capital Bank. He began his career as a credit analyst with Southeast Bank, N.A. after completing a formal management credit training program.

Jeff serves on the board of Connilly Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a Autoventions in Sacramento, CA.

Jeff earned a BBA in Finance from Sam Houston State University, and an MBA in Finance from Nova Southeastern University.

Charles. Rockwood has more than 25 years’ of progressive success in operations, organizational development, sales and marketing, business development, finance and accounting, budgeting and strategic planning, information technology, risk management and human resources. He has significant leadership experience building and fixing international businesses with various cultures in different industries and growth environments ranging from startups to mature $200M complicated far-flung matrix based organizations.

From 2013–16, Charles was Chief Executive Officer of Affineon Digital Lighting, a firm in the commercial lighting industry. From 2010–12, he was Chief Financial Officer of Green Jets Incorporated, a firm in the private aviation industry. From 2008–09, Charles was first Chief Operating and Financial Officer, and then Chief Executive Officer and Director of Kesselring Holding Corporation, a publicly traded company specializing in the manufacture and sale of cabinetry, door and hardware products. From 2006–07, he was Chief Operating Officer of LHI, a privately held company in the consumer products manufacturing industry. From 2001–05, Charles served as Chief Financial Officer of Ocwen Technology Xchange, a software development firm in the financial services industry, and Stainsafe Companies, a furniture products manufacturing company.

Charles began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. and is an inactive CPA. He holds a BSBA in Accounting from Suffolk University.

As President and Founder of MET Solutions, a FinTech consulting company, Duane Jacobsen has over 20 years’ experience in developing disruptive and award winning FinTech platforms, products and services. In addition, he maintains an active role as President of Blade Data LTD / Blade Group Holdings LLC; President of Trefoil Technology; and Prepaid Resource. Duane’s previous roles include Vice President of American Express, Vice President of TSYS and TSYS Prepaid and Vice President of Clarity Payments.

Duane has launched over twenty-five financial services programs with over 1.5 million accounts utilizing platforms and services he developed. As a seasoned prepaid debit card, credit card and travel industry professional, he manages with a customer focus and team leadership style. Duane harnesses the necessary technical insight of emerging technologies to drive success across early stage startups and Fortune 500 companies to successfully delivers award-winning FinTech solutions, global patents and innovative disruption.

Duane attended Rutgers University where he received his BS in Accounting and Finance. He attended The Wharton School in a special EMBA class program with American Express; is a licensed accountant in the State of New Jersey; and a Six Sigma Green Belt.

Stewart Carlin has over seven years’ of experience in corporate finance and banking across the Healthcare, Real Estate and Consumer Products industries. Stewart has fulfilled key financial planning and analysis roles for both public and private companies including Johnson & Johnson, Houlihan Lokey and Coty. Mr Carlin is currently the Chief Financial Officer with Impesa Inc an international Saas Financial Services company. His area of expertise spans across multiple financial disciplines to include treasury and cash management, strategic planning, business development, financial analysis, and investment banking.

Throughout his career, Stewart has raised over $150 million of institutional and private debt for a growing real estate firm, developed pitch materials for transactions valued over $2 billion and lead the financial modeling and due diligence for over 65 different investments in real assets. He has developed single-family residential communities, served in support functions for the Executive Committee for two large multi-national corporations and has also served as a Managing Member of a Florida based Insurance Brokerage.

In addition to being an active investor in real estate, Stewart also provides business development and financial modeling services to small private companies and start-ups.

From Long Island, NY, Stewart earned his BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame. He is a level III CFA candidate and a graduate of the Johnson & Johnson Finance Leadership Development program. He also holds the Series 65 FINRA registration and a Florida Real Estate license.
